The documentation has been updated in [3848af25d21c11a0] to better explain the
certification validation options and process. See the "Certificate Validation"
section. Also on Windows, the default certificate store will be used in OpenSSL
3.2 and later releases, so like Linux systems the user won't need to manually
configure it.
